Compress images and PDFs or bundle files into a ZIP archive.

Tool settings
Up to 7 quality attempts. If the target cannot be reached, reduce the width.

Output is JPEG. Transparency becomes white. A smaller size is not guaranteed.

How to use

  1. Choose a mode: images, PDF optimization, PDF through page images, or ZIP. Then add files.
  2. For images, set width and quality. For example, enter 500 in the target size field for a 500 KB limit.
  3. Process files and compare the output size. If the target size is unreachable, reduce the image width.

Formats and output

Images are saved as JPEG; PDFs remain PDFs. ZIP packages files without additional compression.

Things to consider

PDF optimization does not guarantee a smaller file. Rasterization loses the text layer and interactivity and must be selected explicitly. Image transparency is replaced with white.

Limits depend on device memory, browser format support and the input file. Originals are not modified.

Offline access

Pages and tools are saved in this browser for the current domain. No file is created in your Downloads folder.
