A QR code contains readable data. Do not publish a Wi-Fi password QR if the network should remain private.

How to use

  1. Choose text or a link, Wi-Fi, or a contact and complete the relevant fields.
  2. Set size and error correction, then generate the QR code. Longer data makes the pattern denser.
  3. Download PNG for everyday use or SVG for scaling and printing. Test the code with a phone camera.

Formats and output

Input: text, URL, Wi-Fi settings or a vCard contact. Output: a PNG or SVG QR code.

Things to consider

A QR code stores readable data. Anyone receiving the image can read the Wi-Fi password; the code is not encryption.

Limits depend on device memory, browser format support and the input file. Originals are not modified.

Offline access

Pages and tools are saved in this browser for the current domain. No file is created in your Downloads folder.
